Austin Pak

President

Austin is a senior from Newport Beach, California, pursuing a B.S. in Mathematics & Economics with a concentration in Value Investing. This past summer, he interned at Alpine Investors as a Private Equity Summer Analyst and will be returning full-time. On campus, Austin is a Regents Scholar and Sharpe Fellow. In his free time, he enjoys discovering new restaurants for his Beli, traveling to new countries, and watching Formula One.

Agastya Jain

External Vice President

Agastya is a senior from Louisiana pursuing a B.A. in Business Economics with a concentration in Value Investing. This summer, he interned at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Healthcare Group and will be returning full-time. Outside of BVI, Agastya is the President of Bruin Private Equity. In his free time, he enjoys playing poker, discovering new music, and weightlifting.

Sophia Nguyen

Internal Vice President

Sophia is a senior from Houston, Texas, pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Statistics and Data Science. This past summer, she worked at PayPal as a Technical Program Management Intern. Outside of BVI, Sophia is also involved with Creative Labs and works with multiple tech startups. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball with BVI members and trying different Los Angeles coffee shops.

Knoton Fung

Vice President of Education

Knoton is a senior from Hong Kong pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in Value Investing. This past summer, he interned at J.P. Morgan as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group and will be returning full-time. On campus, Knoton is also a Sharpe Fellow and the former Investment Banking Director for the Undergraduate Business Society. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, bouldering, traveling, and music.

Tarini Pisharody

Vice President of Career Development

Tarini is a senior from Basel, Switzerland, pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in Value Investing. This past summer, she worked at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Healthcare Group and will be returning full-time. Outside of BVI, Tarini serves as the Emeritus Advisor for the Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity. In her free time, she enjoys skiing and watching Formula One.

Neil Patel

Vice President of Career Development

Neil is a senior from Scottsdale, Arizona, pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Classical Civilizations. This summer, he interned at J.P. Morgan in the Private Equity Group and will be joining Guggenheim Securities full-time as an Investment Banking Analyst. Outside of BVI, Neil is a Leadership Development Director for the Undergraduate Business Society. In his free time, he enjoys listening to country music and watching tennis.

He plans to recruit for careers in technology investment banking and is currently interning at Diversis Capital as a Software Private Equity Fall Analyst. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, playing basketball, and drinking matcha.

Matthew Tahir

Matthew is a sophomore from Pleasanton, California, pursuing a B.A. in Business Economics. He plans to recruit for careers in investment banking and will be working at Clearlake Capital as a Private Equity Summer Analyst this upcoming summer. In his free time, he enjoys practicing soccer, playing the piano, and spending time outdoors.

Caden Viehe

Caden is a sophomore from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, pursuing a B.A. in Business Economics. He plans to recruit for careers in investment banking and is currently interning at Cedar Street Capital as an Investment Banking Fall Analyst. In his free time, he enjoys working out and watching college football.

Steven Zhang

Steven is a sophomore from Qingdao, China, pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Philosophy. This summer, he interned at Almitas Capital as a Hedge Fund Summer Analyst. Outside of BVI, he is also a Financial Services Manager for the Undergraduate Business Society. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and taking pictures of squirrels.

Chase Gadler

Chase is a sophomore from El Cajon, California, pursuing a B.S. in Mathematics & Economics. He plans to recruit for careers in sales and trading. This past summer, he interned at Outlier Capital Group as a Venture Capital Summer Analyst. Outside of BVI, Chase is also a member of Bruin Quant Traders. In his free time, he enjoys playing beach volleyball, spearfishing, and birdwatching.

Jack Kennedy

Jack is a sophomore from San Francisco, California, pursuing a B.A. in Business Economics. He plans to recruit for careers in technology investment banking and is currently working at Atlassian as a member of the Atlassian for Startups team. In his free time, he enjoys going to new restaurants, reading a good book, and playing billiards with friends.

Andrew Jin

Andrew is a sophomore from Toronto, Canada, pursuing a B.A. in Business Economics with a minor in Mathematics. He plans to recruit for careers in investment banking. Outside of BVI, Andrew serves as the Co-Chancellor for Delta Sigma Pi. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, trying new restaurants, and lifting.
